Before The Beginning There Was God
Every good story has an origin or beginning and an author telling his story. What is the purpose of the Creation Story in the book of Genesis? This is a great question since God could have easily spoke everything into existence in a single moment there is something more we are to learn from the Creation Story. We know from 2 Timothy 3:16-17 That all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17) That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. So, every word in scripture has a meaningful purpose to those who seek after God and his righteousness. God did not wing-it as we might often find ourselves doing through life. God had a well thought out plan from before "the beginning" of His creation.
