The Annointed Journey

This is an entry in my journal made on December 5, 2006.  The Parable of the Mustard Seed found in Mark 4:30-32 which reads as follows:
30) And he said, where unto shall we liken the Kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?  The mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds and will stay that way.
31) It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: But when action is put into this little seed will astonish many.
32) But when it is sown, it growth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches: so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

From the day that God said let there be a me, I have been put on an anointed journey.  Just as a mustard seed started out small so did I.  Each day I grow it is a learning experience.

This anointed journey has been set before me.  It gets rough and rocky.  It has smoothness too.  There is one thing I know, and that is how it ends.  God has promised to never leave me nor forsake me.  This world can not keep promises, but God never lie's.  He has given me the promise of life eternal for exchange of this worldly one.

Jesus I thank you for this journey, because in this journey I met you.  Your love is indescribable, and is nothing of this world.  I can't wait to see the finish line as I know the greatest prize that is awaiting me is none other than you.
