There are seven dispensations throughout the bible that divides different time periods of God's work and purposes toward man.  In this study I am going to focus on the very first dispensation which was known as the age of innocence.  When God created man and woman, they knew no sin.  They only had one commandment they must follow and that was do not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Before God even told them the one thing forbidden, he first told them all the things they could do and have in the garden.  Genesis 1:28-29 lists them as the following: 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.   29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is...

It is amazing to me how deeper the word can become even after reading the same scriptures over and over.  The more you want to know God the more He reveals to you. While listening to Bro Trayler preach tonight (June 26, 2016) about blood sprinkling (scriptures taken from Heb 11:1, Heb 12, Gen 3:21, and Gen 4:1) God began to point out things to me.  I have read all of these scriptures before, but questions popped in my head as these scriptures jumped right out of the pages. Anyone who has been in Sunday School more than likely has heard the story of how Cain killed Abel and yet Abel still seems to win as even his blood calls out to God telling on his brother.  However, as these verses were being read it dawns on me that Cain is the first born and Abel is the second born.  What is it about the first born that God seems to dislike and therefore chooses the second born to bless?  Does this sound familiar?  Of course it does, there are several other stories w...

My thoughts tonight before going to sleep sparked by an experience earlier this evening. 1 Peter 5:8 KJV Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: ESV Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. In this scripture the Apostle is warning us to be on alert at all times by keeping a sober mind and to watch. Unless we are sober in body and in mind we cannot be watchful for ourselves or others. The enemy is an accuser of the brethren that is walking about looking eagerly for prey like a hungry lion wanting to utterly destroy someone. I love the word of God. Just when you think you have a story down pat God shows you a little more. If you have been in children’s Sunday School growing up than you are sure to have heard about Joshua. Now God has connected some dots for me symbolically comparing Joshua to Jesus, and I wanted to share it with you.   This is one of those did you know moments. We have often heard this phrase at one time in our lives, but it's not actually found in the Bible. So, where did it come from. How to become a virtuous woman must start with not conforming to this world, but being transformed by the renewing of the mind.   This cannot be done in a carnal state of mind.   It is a spiritual insight of humility and modesty only found through a personal relationship with Christ.   Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3:6 that which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of Spirit is spirit.   When we are reborn in the Spirit we no longer desire things this world has to offer, but seek after things that are pleasing to God.   Becoming a strong virtuous woman takes hard work and a consistent communication with Christ.   God told us in Ezekiel 36:27, that He would put His Spirit within us and cause us to walk in His statutes.   God’s convictions upon my life helps lead me in the direction He wants me to follow.   The more I let go of things in this world the closer I become to my God which is followed by wisdom.   Proverbs 3...

"Can you solve the mysteries of God? Can you discover everything about the Almighty? Job 11:7 We can as we walk in the Spirit as you draw nearer to Him he will reveal things to you just like He did to Paul.    In Ephesian chapter 3 Paul talks about the Mysteries of God. You can naturally read the scriptures, but without God’s Spirit you would never learn the mysteries that His word contains as it is hidden from the natural eye. You must first experience being born again with the Holy Ghost & Fire.  As you walk in the Spirit God will start revealing himself to you just as he did Paul.  Paul was not taught by the other disciples who walked with Jesus for 3 1/2 years.  Paul was given instruction by Jesus himself on the road to Damascus in a vision as described from Paul's own testimony in Acts 9 this was after Jesus ascension into heaven.  In verse 6 Paul asked Jesus what he should do in which Jesus instructed him to go into the city and he will be t...
